The Polar Bears represent nearly one-quarter of the skaters of the team (5 of 23).

Upon learning of the announcement, Polar Bear founder and 19U coach Maurice FitzMaurice, who has coached each of these players said "As the years pass one would think we would become used to hearing of our players excelling in both their academics and their athletics, but the excitement never quite seems to fade away when we learn of the continued progress of our current and former players.
