Season Practices & Games Structure
Home Rink: Rinks at Shelton, 784 River Road, Shelton, CT
Practice Structure:
The teams will have week long camps prior to the Beantown and Labor Day tournaments. Beginning in September, the team will have 2 regular weekday practices; each practice is scheduled for one hour and twenty minutes. Coaching will focus on player development through high-level training and competition.
Player Training:
Practices will be largely focused on skill development with a progression towards building a higher hockey IQ and situational awareness. Sessions will maximize repetitions and puck touches and challenge players to work outside their comfort zone at a high intensity.
Goalie Training
Goalies will receive 3 on-ice goalie training sessions every month. Goalie training will be conducted by goalie specific coaches.

The team will play approximately 45-50 games over the course of the season. Below is the anticipated tournament/ showcase schedule. On weekends when the team is not participating in a tournament, they will practice and/or play games generally in Connecticut.

Travis Bokina
Travis has been coaching for 10+ years in Connecticut at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. He has coached with the Yale Jr Bulldogs, CT Riverhawks, West Haven High School, and Notre Dame of West Haven High School. Most recently Travis served as the assistant coach for Post University, (NCAA Division 1, NEWHA). Travis specializes in skating and skills instruction with years of experience training players of all ages.
As a player, Travis played semi professional hockey for the Danbury Whalers and Pennsylvannia Blues. A Connecticut native, Travis attend the Gunnery School where he was named a New England Division 1 All Star. He had a stint with the New Jersey Hitmen before matriculating to Lindenwood University (ACHA). Travis helped his team to an ACHA Championship in 2009 and holds several scoring records at the University.
